PCA Marks 16th Foundation Day with Reflective Gathering at Johar Town Head Office
Lahore, January 21, 2026 — Pakistan Citizens Alliance (PCA) commemorated its 16th Foundation Day with a modest, yet meaningful ceremony held at its head office in Johar Town. The close-knit event was attended by PCA members and friends of the organization, reflecting a conscious decision to keep celebrations simple and channel resources toward impact-driven work.
The purpose of the intimate gathering was twofold: to cut short unnecessary expenses and to allow PCA’s journey, values, and progress to be shared organically—word of mouth—among supporters and well-wishers. The evening served as a moment of gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to PCA’s mission of serving communities in need.
During the program, PCA presented a comprehensive overview of its year-long activities, highlighting significant progress across multiple sectors. Updates were shared on initiatives in the education sector, including access and support for underserved students; the installation of handpumps in water-scarce areas to ensure safe and dignified access to clean water; and emergency relief efforts for flood affectees of 2025, which included timely aid, food distribution, temporary shelter, and long-term rehabilitation.
The audience was also briefed on the ongoing work toward constructing a model village for flood-affected families, aimed at restoring livelihoods and providing sustainable living conditions. Additionally, the successful planning and execution of Volunteerathon 2.0 (2025) was celebrated as a milestone year that showcased the energy, dedication, and leadership of PCA’s volunteer force.
Addressing the gathering, Muhammad Adeel Javed, CEO of Pakistan Citizens Alliance, emphasized that PCA’s growth has always been rooted in the trust of its donors and the tireless efforts of its volunteers. He shared that this collective faith and commitment have consistently guided PCA toward prosperity and greater impact.
The evening concluded with heartfelt wishes and prayers for the future. PCA members and friends expressed hope that the organization will soon expand its footprint as an international NGO, InshaAllah, continuing to serve those in need across borders and leaving no leaf unturned in its pursuit of social betterment.
As PCA steps into its 17th year, the Foundation Day celebration stood as a reminder that true progress is measured not by grand ceremonies, but by sustained impact, integrity, and compassion.
